  • Tickets may be purchased either directly from the www.bakewellbakingfestival.co.uk ‘online shop’ or from other Ticket Agencies shown on the Bakewell Baking Festival website.

  • NOTE: There are NO booking charges when using the www.bakewellbakingfestival.co.uk ‘online’shop’.

  • Tickets can be purchased by Credit/Debit Card using the Pay Pal system from the www.bakewellbakingfestival.co.uk ‘online shop’.  NOTE: Ticket/s may be ordered from January 2015

  • Booking confirmations for PayPal purchases will be the PayPal receipts themselves — these are your proof of purchase when you collect your tickets from the Box Office and you will be required to bring this or some form of ID along.

  • Children under 16 accompanied by an adult do not require a ticket.

  • We  keep a record of all Purchasers names and the Date Ticket/s posted and can follow through  - if there are any problems.

  • Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales, Entrance and Pitching on the Bakewell Showground.

 

1. A Ticket is issued subject to the rules and regulations of the site owners, operators and management listed below (which include but not limited to no Dogs (except Guide dogs) or Alcohol inside theatre venues.

2. Every person entering the event site area must have a valid ticket/armband.

3. Ticket holders are required to carefully check their tickets/paypal receipts in advance of their visit; mistakes may not be rectified on the day. We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen.

4. The event promoter reserves the right to refuse entry of the ticket holder to the event site. Customers found to be causing any damage to the site, the site infrastructure or causing harm to any other person on site or in breach of these conditions will be subject to prosecution.

5. The event promoter reserves the right to search all persons and personal property and refuse admission to - or eject from - the site any person who refuses to be searched by  security.

6. Any person found to be behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially dangerous will be ejected from the festival site without refund.

7. Ticket/s are not transferable. Tickets are for the festival and not one specific event. Although Bakewell Baking Festival will use their best endeavours to present the line-up as advertised, the line-up of artists cannot be guaranteed.  No money will be refunded or tickets exchanged after purchase unless the event is cancelled.

8. Tickets will be exchanged on site for a wristband. Wristbands are non-interchangeable and should not be removed until after the festival. Wristbands that have been tampered with will become in-valid. Note: There is no admission into the Festival Tent without a valid wristband.

9. No tickets may be used for competitions, promotions or hospitality packages without the written consent of BBF the event promoter. Any ticket re-sold or transferred in such a manner will become voidable and the holder may be refused admission or ejected from the site.

10. Admission to the site and performance is at the ticket holder's own risk. Neither the promoter nor the site management shall be held liable for any injury or damage sustained within the showground site area.

11. Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world.

12. The event promoter (AFL) reserves the right to make any change whatsoever to the act programme owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause.

13. Bakewell Baking Festival and its associated Promoters are unable to accept liability for personal damages, losses, or injuries sustained at this event, including damage and losses to personal property, caravans, camping equipment/contents and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons.

14. No unaccompanied under 16's are allowed on site. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 that are responsible for them.  NOTE: Underage drinking is strictly prohibited and will result from in instant ejection from the Showground tent and site. Persons caught selling/providing alcohol to minors will also be ejected and may face criminal prosecution.   If you look under 21 you will be asked for your ID at the bar when trying to purchase alcohol.

15. No Food, Drink, Merchandising or clothes trading without the prior contractual consent of the promoters. (BBF)

16. Customers are not permitted to create cordoned off areas anywhere on the showground site.

17. No illegal substances may be brought in to the festival site - any found will lead to prosecution.

18. The following items may not be brought onto the festival showground site:

  • Illegal Substances

  • Portable Laser Equipment and Pens

  • Unauthorised Professional Film or Video Equipment

  • Audio Recorders

  • Air Horns

  • Spray Cans

  • Fireworks and Flares

All Items will be confiscated.

Please note that tickets are not valid for entry into the Tent, Caravan and Camping site. Please exchange your ticket for a wristband at the entrance to the designated showground site

The following items cannot be taken into the festival.

  • Alcohol

  • Drinks Bottles and Cans

  • Sealed water bottles 500ml and under may be brought into the tent.

  • Food for personal consumption only may be allowed into the tent.  There are food stalls on site.

 

  • No smoking is permitted in enclosed public areas of the tent.

  • Neither the Showground  nor Bakewell Baking Festival shall have any further liability beyond the face value of the ticket purchased plus the relevant per ticket booking fee.

  • It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation. We do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event. No refunds other than on cancellation or substantial alteration of the event.

  • Tickets are only valid when purchased from official agents –Bakewell Baking Festival (by Pay Pal )

  • No unauthorised Traders, buses, coaches or trucks will be allowed on to the caravanning and camping site and surrounding areas of the showground.

  • Fires and the Burning of Plastics are not permitted on the showground tent area or the campsite.

  • The possession of this ticket shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them. In the event of any breach of these conditions, the event promoter (BBF) reserves the right to cancel this ticket and retain any monies paid therefore.

  • All of these terms and conditions are governed by English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • Other than the provisions advertised or outlined by the box office at the time of sale, customers are required to address any special needs by contacting the box office in advance of their visit, as the event promoter (BBF) may not be able to provide those needs without notice.

 

The  Caravan and Camping Showground Site:

  • Tickets are issued subject to a licence for the event being issued by the local authority. The festival is subject to licensing laws.

  • Please respect our site and leave it as clean as you found it. Recycling bins and bags will be available on site – please use them!

  • Glass bottles are not permitted anywhere on the Showground site, including the camping area. If you wish to bring alcohol with you please transfer it to another container before you arrive at the festival site.

  • Fires and BBQs are not permitted anywhere on the showground site, particularly the caravanning and camping area where they present a fire risk.

  • Please respect others by not playing live or recorded music in the campsite after midnight in the main caravanning and camping area, or 8pm in family camping area.

  • Please respect our neighbours and other locals. Their support is essential for the event to continue in future years.

  • Please help make our festival a happy experience for everyone by treating the event, the site and people around you with respect.

  • Please remember that the stewards and other participants are volunteers doing their best to help everyone have a safe time. The rules and regulations are designed to ensure everyone’s safe enjoyment of the festival.

  • The Festival Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject anyone acting in an aggressive of disrespectful manner towards other festival goers, members of staff or the festival site.

  • The Festival Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject anyone not complying with rules laid out in these Terms and Conditions and on the showground site.
